And December is here, which means the residency season continues on & a new fellowship season begins. As always, we remain privileged and humbled regarding the support and trust you put into Thalamus for recruitment season and our team of former applicants, program coordinators and GME administrators is always here to assist.
We are writing to announce our next set of updates to the Thalamus platform, that will go live during an update to Thalamus this Monday, 12/7 from 12:01am to 3:00 am ET. There will be a brief maintenance period for which our services will be unavailable.
Updates for programs:
- Significant performance improvements and enhancements to the itinerary wizard. including force assignments and publishing of schedules.
- Enhanced program reports, layouts and filters.
- New social media + video link/embedment into program profiles.
- New automatic interview reminders
Updates for applicants:
- Significant performance improvements and enhancements to the applicant dashboard.
- New automatic interview reminders.
Video chat updates
- Enhanced microphone and video testing capabilities.
- Updated chat/screen sharing capabilities + other performance improvements.
